With its core features of high efficiency, compact structure and customization, the plate heat exchanger has become a key piece of equipment for the full-process production in the petrochemical product sector. It provides all-round support for the efficient, safe and green operation of the petrochemical industry—ranging from energy-saving preheating in crude oil refining and precise temperature control in chemical synthesis, to medium adaptability in product purification and waste heat recovery in environmental protection processes.
As the petrochemical industry upgrades toward large-scale operation, intelligence and low-carbonization, plate heat exchangers are advancing in the directions of adaptability to more extreme working conditions (temperature resistance expanded to the range of -200℃ to 900℃ and pressure resistance increased to 20 MPa), more intelligent operation and maintenance (integrated with IoT sensors and AI predictive maintenance), and application of better materials (graphene coatings and high-end alloys).
In the future, in emerging fields such as supercritical CO₂ oil displacement and LNG cold energy utilization, plate heat exchangers will rely on their stronger adaptability to provide more robust technical support for the high-quality development of the petrochemical industry.
